YAKIMA – Yakima County prosecutors dismissed second-degree assault charges against a Kirkland man in connection with a 2023 Terrace Heights shooting. Yakima County Superior Court Judge Jared Boswell granted prosecutors’ recommendation to dismiss the charges against Daniel Glenn Holtzclaw without prejudice. By dismissing the case in that manner, prosecutors retain the ability to refile the charges if circumstances change.
